Normal role description: | BAl1 is a G-protein coupled receptor. It binds phosphotidylserine and triggers engulment of apoptotic cells. Similar to BAI2 and BAI3, it is a negative regulator of angiogenesis. Its is regulated by p53. Reduced in expression is correlated with progression of glioblastomas. |
