Mass (Da): 48291
Number AA: 461
UniProt ID: P20333
Locus ID: 7133
COSMIC ID: TNFRSF1B
Gene location on chromosome: 7133

Normal role description: Receptor for TNFSF2/TNF-alpha, and with lower affinity for TNFSF1/lymphotoxin-alpha. In a complex with TNF receptor family members recruits two anti-apoptotic proteins, c-IAP1 and c-IAP2, which possess E3 ubiquitin ligase activity. Isoform 2 of TNFRSF1B blocks TNF-alpha-induced apoptosis.
