Normal role description: | SERPINB3 is a serine and cysteine protease inhibitor. It has been found to regulate apoptosis and immune response. Cancer cells expressing SERPINB3 were found to be resistant to apoptosis induced by anti-cancer drugs and TNFa induced apoptosis. It was also found associated with changes in cell morphology and cell migration in cancer cells. |
