Normal role description: | NKTR is a membrane-anchored protein present on the surface of natural killer cells and functions to facilitate the binding to their targets. It is also involved in protein folding and is very important for the killing of tumour cells by NK cells. Its expression is regulated by IL-2 activation of the NK cell. |
