Normal role description: | CNR2 is a GPRC. A ligand of this receptor is cannabinoid delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol. It is involved with inhibition of adenylate cyclase as well as affecting mood and cognition. It may also play a role in inflammatory response, nociceptive transmission and bone homeostasis. Other roles include signal transduction, regulation of cell fate, inhibition of vascular endothelial cell migration and downregulation of MMP2. |
