Normal role description: | KIF14 is a mitotic kinesin, an essential motor protein with ATPase activity in cytokinesis. It interacts with protein regulator of cytokinesis 1 (PRC1) and localizes citron kinase to the mitotic spindle. Its expression is increased in normal cells during G2/S phase transition. Expression is upregulated in breast carcinoma, retinoblastoma, NSCLC and hepatocelullar carcinoma. |
