Normal role description: ARHGAP9 is a RHO GTPase activator. It induces RHO related G-proteins to catalyze GTP to GDP thus inactivating them and has been shown to regulate adhesion of hematopoietic cells to the extracellular matrix. It has also been involved with cross talk with MAPK pathway by acting as a docking protein via WW domain.
