Normal role description: MST4 is a protein-serine/threonine kinase. It is activated by GM130 and can also be cleaved by caspase 3 in vitro. It has been implicated in cell growth by signalling in MAPK pathway and apoptotic pathways. In cancer over expression promotes cell proliferation and anchorage independent growth.
