Normal role description: | TNN is an extracellular protein involved in fibroblast physiology. TNN permits the migration of cells within the ECM. This role is correlated with increased TNN expression in malignant stroma compared to normal control tissue. This likely correlates with the increased propensity of tumors to spread throughout the ECM. |
